Tickets Now On Sale: Geneva Film Festival 10th Anniversary March 9-10

Geneva, IL  – The Geneva Film Festival will roll out the red carpet Friday, March 9 with an eclectic mix of independent film screenings set to be shown at two venues -- Penrose Brewing and Playhouse 38, both located on Stevens Street in Geneva. The Geneva Film Festival features a wide variety of film genres including comedy, sci-fi, documentary, narrative films, student productions, musical short films, and animation. The Festival highlights blocks of short films and also feature length films. This year’s accepted films hail from 9 countries, including Belgium, United Kingdom, India, Spain, Switzerland, Egypt, Russia, Canada, and the United States.

Admission is $8 per film block if purchased in advance online or $10 per film block at the door, pending available seating.

Saturday March 10th, the festival will open with the popular Filmmakers Forum, held at Craft Urban from 8:30 - 11:30 am. Join us for an informal meet and greet discussion session with our filmmakers. Bring questions, learn about the challenges and rewards of the filmmaking process, and find out what it takes to become an independent filmmaker! Enjoy a continental breakfast catered by Craft Urban. The Filmmakers Forum is free to attend, no ticket required. Seating is limited, so arrive early!

The Geneva Film Festival will conclude with a Wrap Party (free to attend) at Craft Urban Saturday, March 10th at 9:30 pm.  Join us in celebration of a successful 10th Anniversary event!  Craft Urban will host us for a fun night of dancing, good music, and light snacks, and a cash bar.
